If your status recently changed (i.e. student to staff, student to faculty,
etc.), check your MyUCLA roles. Click Role Manager to see a list of all
your roles relating to UCLA. If the new role is missing, click the Check
button. If the information still does not appear, please e-mail us.
You can click on the WebMail link at the top of MyUCLA or use the following
link:
webmail.ucla.edu.
Either way, login to MyUCLA using your UCLA Logon ID and password (formerly
BOL ID and password). Once inside MyUCLA, you may choose to store your e-mail
password for fast access to your e-mail.
If you have signed up for orientation this summer, you will be instructed
how to go about obtaining a UCLA e-mail account. However, if you have not
signed up for orientation, or if you wish to begin using your UCLA e-mail
account immediately, go to
Bruin
OnLine. For further help with that process, contact the Bruin Online Help Desk at
(310) 267-4357 or
consult@ucla.edu.
If you already have an account, and you've forgotten your password, please
visit
https://logon.ucla.edu
to reset it online. You can also bring your photo ID to 124 Kerckhoff Hall to
have it reset. For more information, please contact the Bruin OnLine Help Desk at
(310) 267-4357 or
consult@ucla.edu.
First, open the message which contains the attachment(s). Just above the body
of the message, you will see a list of links near the word "Attachments".
Simply click on the link you want and then you will be able to view or
download the file.
You will need the addresses of the mail servers, which are as follows:
Incoming mail (POP3): mail.ucla.edu
Outgoing mail (SMTP): mail.ucla.edu
For specific instructions on configuring your e-mail client, please visit
http://www.bol.ucla.edu/help/howto/.
The first part of your e-mail address (before @ucla.edu) is your UCLA Logon
ID. You would have chosen your password at orientation. Unfortunately, we
don’t have access to the logon ID or password you chose. You can visit
https://logon.ucla.edu
to verify your logon ID or reset your password. You can contact the Bruin Online Help
Desk at (310) 267-4357 or
consult@ucla.edu
if you have any difficulty with that process.
To change personal information (e.g. e-mail address, mailing address), please
log onto
URSA Online.
The information on URSA is the most accurate. The database MyUCLA uses is
updated by the Registrar but changes to your record may take 2-3 business
days to show up on MyUCLA.
NOTE: Before you re-attempt to login to MyUCLA,
you should close your browser and then re-open your browser.
Microsoft Windows - users should have Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher (we
recommend 6.0 and above) or Netscape 6.2 or higher or Firefox 1.5 or above.
Mac OS X - Make sure you are using the latest version of Safari or Firefox 1.5 or higher.
Linux – If you are unable to view or type in the Login ID or Password boxes,
set the font size to a smaller font. Netscape users should also try resetting all
preferences to the default settings.
AOL - You must not use the AOL browser to access MyUCLA. You can continue to
use AOL as your internet service provider but use an alternate web browser such as
Internet Explorer or Firefox.
If the above information does not solve your problem, then please make sure you are selecting UCLA
Logon as your login type after entering your UCLA Logon ID and password. You can reset your
password at
https://logon.ucla.edu
if you are unable to recall your password.
